Ghana has become the second African country to host the World Armwrestling Championship in the competition’s 44-year history. The World Congress in Almaty, Kazakhstan, last month awarded Ghana the bid to host the championship. President of the African Federation, Mr. Charles Osei Asibey, has promised staging a world class event in August 2024 in Accra.
