How can I join the Ghana Armwrestling Federation as an athlete?
Anyone passionate about armwrestling can join! Reach out through our contact page or visit one of our regional training clubs to begin the registration and assessment process.
Do I need prior experience to participate in competitions?
No prior experience is required for beginner-level competitions. We provide development training for new athletes and gradually introduce them to competitive events.
How can I become a certified coach or referee?
GAF organizes periodic coaching and referee certification courses, endorsed by the Africa Armwrestling Federation (AAF) and the World Armwrestling Federation (WAF). Watch our announcements for upcoming training dates.
Are there youth and school-level programs available?
Yes! Our HD+ Kids Armwrestling Program targets schoolchildren and aims to nurture future champions. We also organize clinics and junior competitions across Ghana.
Can I volunteer or support events?
Absolutely! We welcome volunteers for event planning, logistics, media, and athlete support. You can also partner with us through sponsorship or community outreach initiatives.
